If you've searched google you've probably found a suggestion to change something on your phone's file system. But I've got a different approach.
Thought of developing a camera application for e51 but hey it's already available here: (ccam).
http://www.symbian-freeware.com/download-ccam.html
Just download the sis file and install in your nokia phone.
Common problem:
1.) Certificate error - just set your phone's date setting temporarily to 2006 or 07
2.) still can't install? -
a.) go to your application manager
commonly located in Installations->App.Mgr
b.) go to Options->Settings,
and set Software Installation=All (you can revert it after installation)
:-D, now you can shoot without anyone knowing :-D
Or if you have a dslr camera, you may want to try my personal favorite :-D (right angle lens).
